This is Volume 1 of 3.

Joint Army-Navy intelligence study on Formosa (Taiwan) published by the Joint Intelligence Study Publishing Board. The volume was first promulgated on 1944 June 30 and the chapters within this volume were issued as they were available from the printer, which was not necessarily in order. Included in this volume are the following chapters:
