Scope and Contents
The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence with members of VC Squadron 36 and planning reunions of the group and Ingram's naval orders, leave request, vouchers and appointments. Booklets include war diary of the USS Mission Bay, the History of Composite Squadron VC 36 and training manuals and notebooks from Quonset Point NAS. Photographs are mainly ofVC 36 reunions and maps are of Japan and areas of the South Pacific during WWII.

Biographical Note
Osborne F. Ingram was born in 1915 and spent his youth in Cohasset, MA. He graduated from Harvard University in 1935 and worked for the Boston Herald before joining the Navy in 1942. He was an air intelligence officer with Composite Squadron VC 36 in USS Mission Bay, USS Cord and USS Croatan and was discharged in 1946.
