Scope and Contents
Presentation by the Senior and Junior Classes of 1939 from the period 2 September to 16 September 1938. The purpose of this assignment was: 1. To provide an historical study of the most recent battle. 2. To emphasize the influence of strategic background upon the tactical employment of fleets. 3. To discuss and alalyze the tactics employed during the Battle of Jutland. 4. To formulate lessons derived from this study for application to the future tactical employment of fleets.
