Letter written by Alfred T. Mahan addressed to his daughter, Hennie (Helen E. Mahan) while stationed in Barcelona. In this letter, Mahan remarked that he hadn't received letters for two weeks at this time he had quite a few letters to get through. Also included is a newspaper clipping from the 1893 Sep 20 issue of the Guardian that reviews Mahan's Life of Admiral Farragut.
