Scope and Contents From the Series:

James Shaw was a prolific writer of both short stories and novels on naval, historical, and World War II themes. His articles appeared in the U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings from 1947 to 1956, and in True: The Man’s Magazine. Drafts of a novel on Magellan and draft chapters on World War II battles are located here as well as screenplay and scripts for “The Caine Mutiny”, “The Jarvis Story” and several navy films. Also included are articles by John D. Hayes, Herbert Rosinski, Jim Zeld, Steven Fisher and Joseph D. Harrington are also in this series.
