Address given by ADM William J. Crowe, Jr., Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Plans, Policy, and Operations at the 1978 Current Strategy Forum. Crowe discusses how strategy in the Middle East is prone to dramatic change, and the need for a dymanic military force that can respond to strategic changes. The first two pages features ADM James Stockdale's introduction to Crowe.
